Sports Update – 17th February 2017

Netball

Our netball team took part in two league matches last week at Farringdon. The team won one game against St Michael’s but lost the other match to Hill View. Well done to the team of James, Mia, Oscar, Amelia, Molly, Theo and Niamh for their efforts. My thanks to Mrs Godfrey for accompanying the team and my thanks also to parents and carers who were able to help with lifts.

Tennis Competition

Eight of our Year 3 children took part in a tennis competition at the Puma Centre earlier this week on Tuesday 14th February. The team performed well and played in a variety of individual matches, winning several and finishing fifth overall out of eight teams. Well done to the team of Jack, Niall, Daniel, Abrahim, Summer, Jaidan, Madalin and Heidi for their efforts and my thanks to Miss Copeland for accompanying the children.
